Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal addressing a press conference today said, "There is a difference between a night curfew and a lockdown. While in lockdown, individuals cannot step out of their homes. In a curfew, more than 5 people cannot assemble outside
during the specified hours. So, offices that functioning overnight or something like dairy transportation can still work operate. Taxis, cars and autorickshaws will run just like before." @shailesh505
"Even on Sunday night, our teams visited some nightclubs and found violations. This is why the decision of night curfew had to be taken. This is not a normal new year which is why we cannot have normal celebrations."
Around 3.30 in the night, I finally found a rickshaw to get home while it was raining heavily. This gentleman of a person was irritated in the start as I took him through roads that were knee-deep submerged in water.
I kept calm, and spoke softly than usual. He abruptly went quiet and waded through waters with a straight face. As soon as we reached a better surface, he apologised saying, "Sorry bhaiya, subah se gaadi chala rahe hai aur ab ye baarish. Toh pareshan hogaye hai."
He starts from 10-11 am in the morning and shuts around 4am in the night with just a two-hour break. "Lockdown ke baad se income aadhi hogayi hai. Humare sath vale gaon chale gaye hai. Hume ghar paise bhejne hote hai toh hum kaam band nahi kar sakte," he says.
My uncle jst told me that he is thoroughly following Sushant Investigation Team (SIT) which is comprised of fans. Turns out that such team exists. What is even more murkier is that this team goes through suicide pictures for hours, goes through all chats, videos, interviews (1/4)
and information available in public domain and comes up with new 'findings' everyday. After this, with the help of their peers, they trend these findings on twitter and YouTube. (2/4)
Its weird how they feel that its unfair what happened to Sushant to a point where they have formed a team to investigate his case on their own. (3/4)
