It's important to take the time to respond to your fans.
@theodd1sout: 'It's always good to treat your audience right and show you care, even if you can't reply to all of them. Say thanks in your videos and do meet and greets and come to things like VidCon.' #VidConLDN
Thumbnails are important.
@ScolaDondo: 'Keep them they don't need to be bold and distracting'.
@theodd1sout: 'They're very important as they're the first thing you see, but you also need to make sure the content is good, you can't just focus on the thumbnail. #VidConLDN
@ScolaDondo@theodd1sout Don't worry about growing your audience outside of your friendship circle.
@theodd1sout recommends connecting with other creators and building friendships, 'find people who make videos like you. Network with them and make friends with them to broaden your circle'. #VidConLDN

For all of you "total beginners" out there: @TheNotoriousKIA made this for you. β
Kia and @rewboss agree: you should plan your shoot with the edit in mind. This can mean planning out what your video will look like and only shooting what you need, or getting multiple takes and plenty of wide shots and close-ups.
The takeaway from @TeriosGaming and Kia: technology is fallible. Back up and save your work as often as possible. You can't guarantee a reshoot, and it's frustrating to lose your hard work just because you forgot to save.
