The outrageous thing is not just that the DOJ is ignoring the law I helped get through the Senate *more than a year ago.*

They’re is also ignoring legislation I wrote and the President signed requiring this system to be implemented by next month.
The @VirginianPilot & @DailyPress editorial boards are right:

Remember the 2017 “ICA” report from the U.S. intelligence community unanimously concluding that Russia interfered in the 2016 election?

The Senate Intelligence Committee went back and checked their work. On a bipartisan basis, we found the ICA's conclusions were well-supported.
The ICA correctly found the Russians interfered in our 2016 election to hurt Secretary Clinton and help the candidacy of Donald Trump. Our review of the highly classified ICA and underlying intelligence found that this and other conclusions were well-supported.

Strengthen Medicaid

Reopen the ACA marketplaces

Provide COBRA assistance so laid-off workers can keep their employer-sponsored insurance.

And do it quickly.
And while you’re at it, drop the law suit that would completely unravel the Affordable Care Act and protections for pre-existing conditions in the middle of a pandemic.

This is not the first step Congress has taken to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, nor will it be the last. This bill provides significant financial relief to our families and businesses struggling with the effects of widespread closures and other public health measures.
The CARES Act greatly expands access to unemployment benefits – including, for the first time, gig workers, contractors and the self-employed.
And it includes tax credits and other incentives I negotiated with the Trump Administration to help small businesses keep workers on payroll and keep them from going out of business during this crisis.
