Sweden used to have some of the lowest taxes in the civilized world, while maintaining one of the highest standards of living.

now they have universal healthcare, some of the highest taxes in the civilized world, and this 👇

the timing is uncanny, considering i just recently wrote a little thread about the disasters of government provided health care.

you may want to think twice before you vote to pay substantially more in taxes for a "government" to keep you healthy...

it just seems like such an insane concept to me, especially considering the undeniable history of them doing everything they can to keep us unhealthy...

the "EARN IT" bill proposes a ban on encryption, thus allowing government unlimited access to ALL messages transmitted via internet

it's an odd thing...

the longer you leave off the television, disregard celebrities and influencers, realize the "news" is manufactured... the more you see the unbelievable extent of control it all has over the majority of humanity.

it's quite literally a different reality...
people worship the "news" and tune in daily, but the "news" has the legal right to literally create stories (propaganda) and lie to us about happenings around the world, and yes, even in our own country via the Smith-Mundt act.

people also worship celebrities. celebrities are the world's most powerful influencers. they exist in all types, including politicians, athletes, ultra-wealthy, etc...

it's common to believe what you see on a medium. it's effect on you is intentional.

2) we’ve seen a recent surge in people advocating for “universal healthcare.” what a utopian fantasy which has never worked as advertised. many Americans like to reference Sweden as a perfect example of exemplary healthcare. but it’s been a disaster.
