.@IlhanMN RTed an Intercept reporter’s tweet about AIPAC attendees’ COVID-19 diagnoses. There was absolutely no reason for her to do this except to elicit the schadenfreude responses she predictably got. This is shameful for a sitting member of Congress. ImageImageImageImage
Even though I never tagged or named him, @ryangrim sent a bunch of Ilhan fans to ratio me, alternately implying I’m racist and saying AIPAC attendees getting COVID-19 is karma, Zionists should get debilitating diseases, etc Image
While the replies wishing a fatal illness upon me are obviously the worst, 1 of the most bad faith replies I’ve consistently gotten is that Ilhan was just RTing helpful news about a conference her fellow Congressmen attended, so this was a relevant thing for her to tweet, except:
I checked the twitter feeds of the entire MN congressional delegation, and whaddyaknow, @IlhanMN was the ONLY ONE to tweet about the AIPAC COVID-19 cases. ya know, the same congresswoman who tweeted an antisemitic trope about AIPAC. what a coincidence!

a distinction must be drawn between university affiliates expressing support for anti-Zionism (protected by academic freedom) and demonizing Zionists, saying we must be targeted and excluded. 90% of Jews are Zionist, which many on the left try to deny:

Denmark has published an omicron report in English:

among 2,471 omicron cases, 27 have been hospitalized
as @infoseepage noted, there is exponential growth in omicron cases, so most of the Danish cases were recently identified, and insufficient time has passed for such cases to require hospitalization

so this is an underestimate of the % of omicron cases requiring hospitalization
@Infoseepage Today’s omicron report from Denmark compares % of cases that require hospitalization for delta vs omicron. It is HIGHER for omicron, and most of Denmark’s omicron cases were just diagnosed, meaning insufficient time has passed to require hospitalization:
