This cynical bullshit is exhausting. If (really when) Biden is the nominee, it will be because he got more votes. But people like Cenk don’t want to call voters untrustworthy idiots. So they pretend nominees are chosen like popes.

Bernie keeps losing because he hasn’t won over enough of the black base of the Democratic Party. Shifting their power to the “Democratic establishment and mainstream media” is an effed up sleight of hand.
If Bernie and his inner circle had admitted this after 2016, maybe they would’ve approached 2020 differently. I honestly would’ve liked to see it. But it’s just not how they’re wired.
