The next few weeks are going to be tough for us Nigerians. Number of cases are amplifying and there are beliefs in some quarters that they massively under-reported. Whether it is enforced by the government or not, there's going to be some sort-of shutdown.
We can't really trust contact tracing to be 100% ,that's not possible anywhere. You know, somewhere in Nigeria right now some secondary contacts of these imported cases are taking coflin syrup and amartem mixed with ciprofloxacin and maybe diclofenac. Another thing they are also
doing is spreading the virus to hundreds of people who will also not be traced. Their CHEMISTS might decide instead to add procold in the mix and they also go on ahead to widely disseminate the nCov.
When this shutdown happens, some families that depend on daily earning will be
unable to feed. This is where every humanity has to take preeminence. Look out for your neighbors. Give them from the little you have. YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO HUG THEM OR KISS THEM TO DO THIS. Give out foodstuffs and even cooked food. The very well to do ones can contract delivery
companies to deliver items to indigent people in the neighborhood. Of course they know how to protect themselves.
I'm also waiting for some of the already existing NGOs to modify their scope to include measures to alleviate hunger imposed by Covid-10. Time for sharing sewing
machines and the likes is NOT now.
Let humanity reign supreme in these times.
