1. On Monday, Popular Information reported Spectrum, the internet and cable giant, was not taking basic steps to protect technicians.

Workers were being sent into NYC apartments without protective equipment

Yesterday, the company announced some changes

2. Most significantly, Spectrum announced a number of policies designed to keep technicians OUT of homes.

The company will "increase self-installation in all sales channels" and ship equipment to customers by default, among other steps

3. There is still a long way to go.

The company has also "secured access to hand sanitizer as well as gloves."

But those won't be available in the field right away.

No word on masks.
