@RudyGiuliani tweets "Hydroxychloroquine has been shown to have a 100% effective rate treating COVID-19. If Trump is for something- Democrats are against it. They're okay with people dying if it means opposing Trump." Twitter quickly locks his account citing new guidelines Image
which forbids the "description of harmful treatments or protection measures which are known to be ineffective, do not apply to COVID-19, or are being shared out of context to mislead people." blog.twitter.com/en_us/topics/c… Image
How is what Guiliani tweeted misrepresenting anything? The FDA authorized it's use: "FDA issues emergency authorization of anti-malaria drug for coronavirus care,:" politico.com/news/2020/03/2…. It's not just the US that is finding #HydroxychloroquineAndAzythromyacin saves lives,
China themselves stated that their first clinical trial results in February 2020 revealed that the treatment of using chloroquine had resulted in significant improvements of pneumonia & lung imaging, with significant reductions in the duration of illness. nature.com/articles/s4142…
In France "A non-randomised clinical study was approved by the French National Agency for Drug Safety (ANSM) performed by Didier Raoult and team in 36 Covid-19 patients in the Mediterrane Infection University Hospital Institute in Marseille, France. Both Hydroxychloroquine and
Azithromycin have been recommended to cure Covid-19 in patients to weaken the transmission chain of the virus and to curb the spread of the disease worldwide." clinicaltrialsarena.com/projects/hydro… Belgium,
From "Live Science" "Study will test if hydroxychloroquine can prevent COVID-19," livescience.com/hydroxychloroq… "For the study, researchers in New York and Washington state plan to enroll 2,000 participants who are close contacts of those with confirmed or pending COVID-19 diagnoses.
Dr. Daniel W. Varga, chief physician executive at Hackensack Meridian Health“& the other trial that we are looking at right now that we hope to get launched later this week, we’ve actually had it fast-tracked up until now, is actually using hydroxychloroquine for what we call
chemoprophylaxis or prevention for front-line caregivers,” he added. foxnews.com/media/coronavi… Here we have CEBM The Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine states "Chloroquine & Hydrochloroquine: The ability of CQ/HCQ to inhibit certain coronaviruses, such as SARS-CoV-1, has been
explored with promising results (5, 6). Both drugs are affordable and widely available internationally. With decades of experience administering these drugs, their safety profiles are well-established." cebm.net/covid-19/chlor…
So how a promising drug, tweeted about by #RudiGiuliani & backed by medical Scientists & Doctors, in anyway violates these new #TwitterGuidlines is beyond my comprehension. Twitter is OBVIOUSLY biased when it comes to saving lives.
