Question of the day: "Can I go out for a walk?"

If you're the kind of person who needs a black and white answer, the answer is no.

If you prefer to wade through complexity, the short answer is: as long as you're very confident you can keep 6+ feet from others, consider it.
For some people, it will be difficult to keep a safe distance because of their home environment - e.g. a tall apartment building with limited elevators.

For others, it will risky because their normal walk is crowded right now.
Related note, please folks, I know it's nice to have spring weather finally here and the river and park walks are beckoning. But if the trail is crowded, choose another route. You might surprise yourself and find a new gem.
For some people, going for a walk may not be the right choice because the temptation to close talk is too great, or the kids are likely to have a hard time keeping their distance from others.
If none of those apply to you and you are sure you can do it without straying, it's fine to go for a walk.

Keep at least one hockey stick away from others, don't touch anything (even people's pets), and enjoy the sunshine.
Two other points.

Mental health is important! Getting some exercise outdoors has legit health benefits.

Social norming is important too. The more people see others outside, the less inclined they may be to carefully keep a safe distance from others.

Again, no perfect answers.
