Imagine
Imagine this is the last day
The last day before you go away and are no more
That the morning sun will rise again, its warmth denied to you
It matters not the cause of your demise, be it common or brave
It only matters that in some memory you stay, for a little 1/..
...while at least
Imagine this is the last day …….
What would you need to say to those to be left behind?
“I loved you but never found the time to tell you so! “
“I loved you more than words could express and now I am at a loss at what to say …. “
“I am sorry for not 3/..
...making the time to be with you because I chose another path … “
“I wished I had listened more to your voice than impress myself with my own … “
“I loved to see your eyes sparkle in the light, the way your lips curled with your smile … “
So much left unsaid, ..4/..
.....that needed to be said and questions left unanswered.
Imagine that this is your chance, before nightfall to make your peace with all.
After that there is nothing left to say, a fleeting memory that’s all

If you can imagine all that’s left behind, then spend your 5/..
.....seconds being kind
For in some heart that beats some- where, your name will raise a tear or two

It matters not if it’s a common vulgar death, or some heroic gesture mentioned in the 'press'

Just imagine, that is all, that the sun will rise without you, that is all …
