Well, this is interesting: according to the NYT, a Gaza freelance journalist named Hind Khoudary called on Hamas to go after the guy who had organized a Zoom chat with Israelis -- and as it happens, Khoudary claims to work for @amnesty ...

Turns out that Hind Khoudary does indeed work for @amnesty -- here they're protesting when she was interrogated by Hamas last year. Strange that she's now on so good terms with Hamas...

And by now, it seems @amnesty & Hind Khoudary realized that her snitching made the NYT, and the link to her FB post no longer works -- hopefully @halbfinger has a screenshot/archived copy
In any case, I archived another of Khoudary's related FB posts, where she rants against "normalization" and calls Israel a "terrorist state based on a racist regime" -- a view that is probably regarded as a requirement for a job @amnesty

And last but not least: when @halbfinger linked to Khoudary's FB post, and described her as a "freelance Gaza journalist", he could have added that she works also for @amnesty -- but chose not to do so...

Maybe my screenshot was a bit ambiguous, because you have to click it to see the full size -- so just to clarify, it's not Malley but Thrall who apparently got hired by NYT mag. But of course, they both work for a group (Crisis Group) that's very hostile to Israel.

I really fail to understand why most of the media think their audiences are too stupid to realize 1) that the numbers from China, Iran, Russia &Co are not reliable; 2) that absolute numbers don't tell the story, because you need to know how many cases per capita there are
So this site is a bit better: it also takes official numbers from countries like China, but at least it shows how many cases and how many deaths there are per capita

And yes, I understand: these are tense times, but if you're an established writer with 230K followers and put out stuff like this, it's just pathetic.

This is honestly hard to believe. But it's a real tweet from @RVilkomerson. And the "game" of listing and ranking bad Jews according to which one is worse is a "game" that the Nazis would have found "cathartic" too.
Here's the absolutely vile thread . As you can see, the tweets didn't garner so many RTs &"Likes", but the polls were very popular among those who enjoy ranking Jews according to which one is worse.
We all know what would happen if someone made a thread &polls like this to list &rank America's worst Muslims.
And the people who made &enjoy the "dreadful Jews" list would be the first to insist that anyone involved with a "bad Muslims" list would be banned &cancelled forever.
