This is exclusive, been working on it for couple days. Follow the thread. Just heard about an interesting Universal Coronavirus Vaccine tech out of Dr Thomas Kupper’s Harvard lab. Kupper believes this virus may stay with us for a long time and possibly even mutate like the flu.
HIs vaccine strategy is to stop Coronavirus from being a threat, both in the present and the future with T-cell protection that can make its way to the lungs.
I’m told most vaccine techs don’t do this, but he believes he has figured out the way.
His tech: parts of Coronavirus in an MVA vector that is put into the skin
Surprising, you have to put it into the skin to get the best T cell protection in the lungs.
Many vaccines in development for Covid are focused on generating antibodies, (not T-cells). Antibody vaccines generally target surface proteins, like COVID-19 spike protein; but they tend to mutate/change fastest, reducing effectiveness of such vaccines against future strains
