This is going to be a long thread which talks about Trend trading investing in the Indian Stock Market.
I learned very early "Trend is your Best Friend" but hardly found any practical method that can be applied in Investing and Trading

I had to burn my fingers and finally learned some concepts of the trend. I have been applying these concepts and have been richly rewarded
Firstly, it's important to understand that Trend works differently in a shorter time duration when compared to a longer duration.

Likewise, it's differently done for Index and for Stocks. Cut, Copy, and Paste cannot be applied here.

Chemcon, the manufacturer of specialised chemicals - HMDS and CMIC, is likely to raise around Rs 300-400 crore through its IPO
As per the red herring prospectus, the public issue consists of a fresh issue of Rs 165 crore and and an offer for sale of 45 lakh equity shares by promoters Kamalkumar Rajendra Aggarwal and Naresh Vijaykumar Goyal. Both promoters will divest 22.5 lakh equity shares each via IPO.
