Ah yes that thing large multinational corporations are really well known for: paying lots of tax.
FedEx claims it paid 10 billion arguing against the actual public record, which shows it paid ...
And even if they paid 10b over the last 10 years, FedEx revenues over that time were in excess of $350b, and even if they weren’t, the post office is a public good and a vital part of the national commons, and privatizing it is dumber than rollerblade wheels made out of cheese.
Tax FedEx even more and use it to fund the post office without the entirely unnecessary and foolishly wasteful step of handing over a monopoly’s worth of infrastructure and literally every address in America to a corporation with loyalty only to profit, imo.
