Veterans Experience Loss On So Many Levels: Read Thread

The many vets we speak with mourn loss in many ways. Be it combat buddy loss, the emotional loss of time in service and miss having a purpose. Be it the loss of friendships, support and closeness of being in the military.

Most of those we speak to have loss right here in the physical sense as well. They have lost custody or don't see their kids, have lost a spouse or three, don't have relationships with their family members and long time childhood friends and

when combined with the loss of military buddies, our vets mourn all of those losses. Since Jan 1, 2020 we have spoken to 19 vets that mourn for those family members and friends right here on earth. For many reasons family and friends don't reach out.

NO MATTER THE REASON...…….. I AM SAYING TO ALL FAMILY ...….TO ALL FRIENDS .........YOUR VET NEEDS YOU AND YOUR RELATIONSHIP. Please I beg of every parent, sister, brother, friend and kids of veterans, YOUR VETERAN MISSES AND NEEDS YOU.

Today at 2:44 pm @CLWAL02 got an urgent message saying a vet, a husband, a dad, was in a fight for his life. He and his family are struggling with physical health as well as TBI, mental health and pain. Yes he has his wife and his kids. But he is struggling with the loss of his

parents, his siblings, his prior relationships. He feels betrayed because his family have never met 4 of his children. He is lost because he has supported many in active duty and they are not with him now. He again feels lost and betrayed. He fought for this country and yet he is

struggling with the entire VA process, even more betrayal. It took until 10:06 PM tonight to be able to stabilize this man. His parents, his family, his friends are choosing to stand back in the wings and be clueless. What would they each have said today? "Well we had no idea

what he was going thru". ITS BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT LISTENING SEEING AND REACHING OUT.

Message to all is LOVE YOUR VETERAN UNCONDITIONALLY.
