Sirumugai is a small village east of Mettupalayam in Coimbatore District. Once upon a time, it was bustling when South India Viscose was in Full Glory. After that it became a sleepy village.

Needless to add, access to Coaching Classes etc was less and limited there
But, that did not prevent Jayamohan to score 1179/1200 in 12th Exams in 2007, get the State 3rd Rank and join MBBS in Madras Medical College in 2007.

He was a very intelligent, hardworking and sincere CRRI

After completing MBBS, he joined Government Service and worked in PHC
Most Doctors in Primary Health Centres in Tamil Nadu really get involved in the work (and not just come and sign and go, as is the common impression) and he was no exception

He was continuously improving his Centre and this discussion is just one of the many actions he took
It is a big shock when I got the news that he is no more.

A state 3rd Rank Topper, Working in a Remote Primary Health Centre, not for name sake but genuinely involved, getting an infection at work and dying at age of 30

What more does Society expect more from MBBS doctors
But still this
Thankless society will be shouting "12th Toppers don't serve in villages", "doctors are not service minded", "doctors are overpaid" etc
The people of his village refused to allow his body to be brought to his village fearing corona
So
His mother attempted suicide
She is now being treated in a hospital

Why doctors in India don't have any rights ?
What will happen if doctors refuse to treat corona patients ?
