virgo mars ➫ the master thread
When Mars enters Virgo, the planet of sexuality and passion takes on an intellectual approach. As Virgo answers to Mercury, Virgo mars people need to thoroughly examine everything before deciding if it's worthy to pursue.
Virgo mars people are methodical with their pursuits. If something doesn't feel thought out, they might become a bit put off by it altogether. They need structured plans, and often get upset if even the slightest thing goes off course.
It's not necessarily that Virgo mars people are anal, as much as their mind is constantly on overdrive. The agenda they're creating for the following week is what keeps them up at night. You might often find them with lists or journals to keep organized.
A Virgo mars person is eccentric though in spite of themselves. They want to be seen as the stoic and methodical person that carefully examines things before pursuing them. But, they can be a bit lenient with this. They're reactive and imaginative, as Virgo itself is mutable.
In romantic pursuits, intellectual stimulation can be more worthwhile than anything else. If the person they're pursuing doesn't have a curiosity for the world around them, Virgo mars might bore easily and not want to further pursue things.
Virgo mars people are inspired by unearthing new layers of people or situations. They want to dig deeper and find the complexities behind life. They're enthusiastic learners, and even more so with teaching others. They make the best professors, educators, and philosophers.
What fuels a Virgo mars person is the need to do more, learn more, experience more. They're constantly seen as the little energetic rabbit who is perpetually expressing they are late or running out of time.
They live their life on fast forward, but at times struggle with missing out on the things worth being fully present for. Virgo mars people do their best when they're able to slow down, and take time to pour their energy into one task at a time.
At their worst, they're overextended and perpetually irritable with their surroundings. A Virgo mars person is spontaneous and hopeful, a lot of the fire that fuels them toward their goals stems from wanting to nurture or provide for their loved ones/family.
But, when they overextend themselves and constantly go out of their way to do things for others (without being asked) they can form somewhat of a chip on their shoulder. It's not necessarily that they're hard, but they might not know how to express being vulnerable, comfortably.
So when they lash out, their tongue might give your emotions whiplash - but it could stem from the fact they're feeling taken for granted. But they'd rather sound critical or perplexed, versus sensitive or hurt.
Virgo mars people might feel like it's easier to be the villain in other people's stories, versus the protagonist. Not because they are the anti-hero, but because they don't see the point of proving anything to anyone in the first place.
But, Virgo mars people are the true underdogs of society. They are the secretive good guys, but often feel overlooked or underappreciated and can channel this into meticulous or petty ways. Their motivation is fueled by needing to improve on themselves and the lives of others.
It's easier for them to come off mechanical or matter of fact than feel naked by expressing their sensitivity to what might keep them up at night. So if you have a Virgo mars person in your life, thank them for reminding you to drink water – + always encouraging you to do better.
