According to @etherscan, one of the addresses consumes ~8.5% of all daily gas. It is really a lot, compared to the next address, that alone consumes “only” 1.66%. Hmm, maybe it’s an exchange? @PaxosGlobal @stephendpalley @VitalikButerin
Scarcely so. It calls a smart contract, which involves ~15% of total Tx Count for the last 1500 blocks, according to @ETHGasStation. Nobody published code, so we can’t make any assumptions based on it. The contract is full of @PaxosStandard transfers, - a kind of gateway?
Missed again! The contract is 7th in top PAX holders with 1.86% of total supply (~3.8% of circulating supply), but not affiliated with PAX. Blockchain analysis twice returns a reference to this contract as an argument in setGame(address _gameAddress) function. Still a game?
I’d really want a competent lawyer to comment on that. Imagine an American citizen participates in this affair and doesn’t receive a refund. Can they sue, which ultimately will lead to a freeze of the funds of the entire Ponzi contract and reduce the network congestion?
