Man is a SPIRIT, he has a SOUL and he lives in a BODY.

At New birth, what God saved is the SPIRIT of man. The SOUL and the BODY aren't saved yet.

Acts 2:41
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

We partake of the MILK of God's word for a short while and God desires to move us into the next and a major dispensation of the word, which is the MEAT of God's word

The milk of God's word (Hebrews 6:1-2) has one major function, which is to slow down the activities of the works of the flesh in us and to bring us to a place whereby we are sincere enough and able to partake in the meat of God's word. (1 Corinthians 3:1-3)

I am giving this short background to make it easier to understand the faith of the Son and what it actually seeks to achieve in the life of every and any believer.

The meat of God's word can also be called the dispensation of the DOCTRINE OF CHRIST. It majors on the Faith of the Son

Prior to the time Apostle Paul encountered Christ, the church was fellowshipping with the Apostle's doctrine, which was simply the milk of God's word.

Acts 2:42
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Paul was the man that God used to unveil the dispensation of the faith of the Son or the faith of Christ or the meat of God's word. (Acts 26:16-18)

Jesus had to intervene in the church because all they knew was the milk of God's word. He needed men to be turned, so he appeared to Paul and gave him the mandate to turn men to God.

The Faith of the Son is a syllabus in God, that he (God) first installed in Jesus, (that's why the Bible refers to him as the author and the finisher of our faith Hebrews 12:2) and it's a syllabus that every man that will inherit God must partake of.

The purpose of the Faith of the Son is to bring man to a halt and establish him into a new way of living.

Here a man does not dictate how he wants to live, but rather he is subjected to the subjective leading of the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 13:11)

One thing that God gave every man is WILL. Every man has his own will.

Satan has hijacked the will of MAN and has installed a system/will in him called SELF and this will is completely contrary to the nature and person of God.

Jesus Christ came, to live a life that will detonate that operation inherent in man,

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Here, sin is not just works of the flesh, but charting a life for one's self outside the ordination of God's will.

If Satan was the first person to sin, what was his sin? The sin he commited was not fornication, but he charted a course that out of his own will (Ezekiel 28:13-18)

What the faith of the Son comes to do is to take our will (The will Satan gave to us) and replace it with the will of God in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15

Milk of the word like I said is just a make shift program that God made, so as to slow down the operation of sin and death (via the works of the flesh) in us.

The Faith of the Son on the other hand is what terminates that operation of SELF in us.

It is the man that has completed the curriculum of Christ that can now hope for God.

That's why in Jesus' "words no man cometh to the Father but by me".

It is good to know that there is a curriculum in Christ that needs to be learnt in other to come to God.

So the Faith of the Son is the life that Jesus Christ demonstrated in the hope of the promise Eternal Life (Titus 1:2).

So here is the catch, every man has a way that he thinks life should go but the end is always destruction (Provervs 16:25). This means that no matter how good you think your life is, as long as it's a life that seemeth right to you (out of your own will), the end is death.

So Faith of the Son is the way that seemeth right to God and the end thereof is the way of Eternal Life. (John 14:6)

Christ embodies three things: Faith, Hope, Charity (1 Corinthians 13:13) and these three are building blocks that can bring a man to God.

Therefore,
Faith is The Way
Hope is the Truth,
Charity is the Life

So a man needs to first see this WAY, journey in it, encounter the TRUTH which ends up in developing the LIFE of Christ in him.

Any man that has completed this can now hope for God (Colossians 1:27).

So dear believer, you need to follow process of learning and journeying to becoming everything that God has promised you.

Don't joke with the process, endure it.

Acts 26:16-18 please read the mandate God gave to Paul.

This is why his (Paul's) letters in the epistles must be read by believers having that mandate in mind.
