It’s amazing how every swastika has context.
I know the swastika is a Nazi symbol, but let’s not forget the most important thing of all, which is to create a story in our heads that allows any *specific* swastika to not be a Nazi symbol, and then vigorously argue that imagined story, no matter how specious or convoluted.
There’s a certain kind of person who doesn’t know the difference between being offended by racism and being offended by any suggestion that something might be racist.
The word for such a person is “racist.”

The Racist’s Two-Step: First, take the position that racism is the most awful monstrous thing imaginable. Then, whenever racism appears, point out that a) the person enacting it is a person not a monster, thus b) it is ridiculously offensive to call THAT racism—which you HATE.
It’s this amazing posture of constantly performing anti-racism by constantly defending racists.
