Immigrant (noun), definition: A person demonised in newspapers owned by foreign or expatriate billionaires, until said newspapers discover that the country would collapse without them, whereupon their arrival on these shores is celebrated, until said newspapers forget again. 
Please note: there is no commonly agreed term in English for the opposite of an immigrant. This is because, when we try to settle on one, we immediately run into the fact that we all got here from somewhere else.
