A harvest is coming, people of faith. We get to directly impact what that harvest will be. What we sow into this season we will reap. If we sow to the Spirit, we will reap the Spirit. If we sow to our angry, spiteful, panicky, divisive, proud flesh, this is what will flourish.
These are planting days. Let’s look away from so many strategies and look to the Scriptures. As much as we can, let’s significantly increase our time in prayer. Let’s ask God to stir up our faith and revive our souls and return us to our 1st Love and give us joy in tribulation.
If we are in Christ and these things seem childish or cheesy to us, we are not maturing in our walk. We are shrinking. Only thing growing is our carnality. There’s no replacing the spiritual disciplines. A harvest is coming from this frightfully fertile season. A great reaping.
We are not powerless, Church. We have an enormous impact on what grows out of the soil on the other side of this perilous season. Whatever it is, it’ll be big because there’s a lot of sowing going on. It could be a big work of the Holy Spirit. Time will tell what we chose to sow.
