2. My seminary experience was just the opposite. I was told that we cannot imitate the New Testament writers because they were inspired and we are not. Through much painful study, I have come to the point where I now agree with Chase’s professor.
I have also come to the conclusion that his professor’s view is the view held by most Christians throughout the history of the church.
