I have been thinking.

And I'm beginning to suspect that I may have already had the corona virus and recovered.

I was in northern Italy and I had the symptoms.

My family did too.

Please read this whole thread and let me know if you have experienced anything similar👇

1/
I was in northern Italy with my family and in the beginning of January I developed a severe cough.

I have been hospitalized for pneumonia twice in my life before, and the cough I had earlier this year was honestly worse than anything I've had before.

2/
It literally felt like I was coughing my lungs out.

And it lasted until the middle of March.

I also had a bad stomach and diarrhea. And I had fever that came and went for weeks - an intermittent fever.

As far as I know, the flu doesn't give you intermittent fever.

3/
With a normal flu, once the fever is gone it is gone (as far as I know). But mine came and went for weeks

Corona virus can give intermittent fever

Malaria also can give intermittent fever

This leads me to believe I had corona virus, especially since I was in northern Italy

I am certain I had some form of pneumonia in my lungs. I had the terrible cough and I was also coughing pleghm.

And when I was breathing I could hear crackling in my lungs, which is a sign of pneumonia.

About 1-2 weeks after I got the cough, my parents and brothers got sick

5/
Here is the interesting part.

My mother didn't get much symptoms. She only had diarrhea.

My dad who is in his late 40s got the worst symptoms.

He had very high fever for days, which dissepared for 1 day, only for it to come back again. Intermittent fever.

6/
Same with one of my brothers. He had intermittent fever as well!

Both me, my dad and my brothers got a terrible cough. But my mother was mostly asymptomatic.

My brother was so bad, that he collapsed on the floor.

We saw this in China with people collapsing from corona.

7/
Now to the timing.

We got sick about 1 month before the corona outbreak was really recorded in Italy.

So that speaks against this being corona virus.

BUT

All the symptoms we had matched. Especially the one thing about intermittent fever.

8/
As far as I know, people don't get intermittent fever with normal influenza.

But it can happen with diseases like malaria and corona.

Which leads me to believe we had corona virus.

I cannot say for certain as we didn't get tested

But a doctor advised me we likely had it

9/
I have now been recovered from the cough for about 1 month, and I am doing fine except for a strange pain in my calf, which I am getting checked out.

One more symptom I should mention. I got something strange in my ear when I was sick.

10/
I had strange peeping noises in my ear and I lost my balance. My balance was messed up from the sickness.

And my brother had... Wait for it...A loss of taste and smell.

Something we now know can be a symptom of Corona virus.

Have anyone else experienced anything like this?

Would love to hear from you!
