Welcome to the third night of favorite books about Lincoln and the Civil War! Tonight, books about the Civil War and the world around Lincoln. Night 1 was books about the war itself: and Night 2 featured books about Lincoln himself:
1) Doris Kearns Goodwin's TEAM OF RIVALS, on Lincoln's cabinet, is as magisterial as you've heard and spawned a whole new way of looking at leadership (mostly by people who haven't read the book, internalized its lessons, and realized how poorly it went): bookshop.org/books/team-of-…
