US adding a record number of new cases today, 36,000 - including 7 states with 1k+ and 11 states with 800+

I have repeatedly warned about false assurances folks were taking by looking just at early states. Several states are now starting to surge.

We are not out of woods yet!
52,000 Americans are dead.

The sharp rise in new daily cases is especially troubling given our mortality rate is up to 5.7%.

Trump has been shifting from open to close to open daily. He is confusing the country, prolonging the misery and making it far worse. He has no plan!
UPDATE: the US has now crossed 37,000 new daily cases today.

Our previous high was 34,500 a couple of weeks ago when NY was still at its peak. NY now composes 21% of adds as other states surging.

We needed a national lockdown weeks ago!

Nearly 100,000 Americans are dead, and it appears Trump is going golfing.
So basically Trump has returned to life as usual, ignoring the 100,000 dead Americans in less than 3 months, and surge in some areas, and the 38 million who lost jobs.

He is back to his regimen of crap tweeting, campaign rallies and golf.
Trump could use this day to visit one of America’s 100,000 grieving families to offer comfort.

It’s as if he thinks If he ignores the American bodies piling up, it will help his new cheerful campaign message.

He has no empathy. He has no soul.

This is leadership without empathy. Trump says liberate and those who are dead are a “tiny fraction.” He is a monster!

Most died alone and without proper burial.

Soon we will pass the number of deaths in World War I. We can’t let Trump numb and distract us from what is happening.
