Just thinking of how the media would have covered Ferguson protests if some in the crowd had long guns.

Just wondering how today's "protesters" would have reacted.

Today's protest is about what people are allowed to threaten the government with guns and which are not.
If today's protest were about economic concerns during quarantine, they'd be protesting in favor of remedy—measures designed to make necessary shelter easier.

Instead, with guns, they're protesting in favor of harm—measures designed to make other people die for their own ease.
They don't want to ease the burden of those upon whom the coronavirus has most heavily settled. They want to increase that burden, by being allowed to pretend there is no coronavirus, that it's nothing to do with them.

They know people will die because of their actions today. Not them, they presume

The intention is for others—many others—to die for the satisfaction of their own ease. They treat it as their right. Call it their worldview

The guns are there to make it clear: one way or another.
