There are plenty of reasons which have nothing to do with Brexit why the BBC should not give a platform to the wife of a highly controversial Government adviser, perhaps the most powerful man in Britain, to explain what a nice man he is.

I will always remain outraged by the BBC's conduct towards me on my most recent appearance on @BBCr4today. They misled me to get me on - and then attacked me for challenging the Government.

Hard to think of a more craven act than giving an unchallenged platform on the BBC's most important radio show to the wife of a powerful man, Dominic Cummings, who has threatened to, and has the means to, abolish it.
