Thread about a development that has arranged for their brand-new buildings to have "old signs" painted on their sides, changing the implied age and history of them.
Someone in the thread responds with "What's the big deal" and my main issues with it is that it implies, falsely, the architecture was superior enough to last longer than it has. Einstein Brothers Bagels had art implying they'd been around in 1920 and that annoyed me too.
