The leak of Republican strategy memos show the party plans on blaming China and traitorous Democrats for their coronavirus failures.

This strategy will lead to harassment, discrimination, murder, and possibly even war.

People need to hear this and I've been screaming it for weeks.

This is all part of the authoritarian cycle. Authoritarians make crises worse and then scapegoat vulnerable populations and wild conspiracies involving their enemies.

That's what we're watching right now.

History tells us that authoritarians rely on these conspiracies and racist scapegoatings to hide their own failure. Trump and the GOP will blame China, Chinese Americans, and the Democratic Party, linking them all together in a completely fabricated and dangerous narrative.

If they are successful, and the GOP is incredibly good at staying on message, they will escalate tensions with China to the point of a cold or hot war while turning up the racist temperatures here in America.

People will be harassed, discriminated against, and murdered.

This isn't a conspiracy theory. The memo is out there in black and white and Republicans are already getting on message to turn the conversation to a Chinese conspiracy theory involving Democrats.

It's only going to increase in the coming weeks.

Trump is an authoritarian. There is a cycle with authoritarians. People need to learn it and fast. We have blown through so many stages and are now starting the scapegoating and conspiracy mongering during a crisis stage.

It's about to get bad.
