QGR purchased Innisfail tramway 1915. Formerly Geraldton Shire Tramway, 2' gauge. Had some interesting locomotives. Sold to local sugar mills in 1977.

Queensland Railways B9½ class locomotive 2'
Between 1924 and 1927, John Fowler & Co, Leeds delivered three 0-6-2 locomotives (9,10,11) to the QR. Designated the B9½ class, B = three driving axles, and 9½ the cylinder diameter in inches.
