You just have to figure out how to put yourself in its' path.
One of my favorite stories is in @JackCanfield 's The Success Principles, Chapter 1.
It's about a Lexus dealership in So Cal during the Gulf War.
Nobody was showing up to buy Lexus's.
Here is the winner:
They drove a fleet of cars to where rich people were:
Country clubs, marinas, polo grounds, parties in Beverly Hills, etc.
You can guess what happened.
No longer satisfied with their 'old' car, many of them bought a new Lexus.
According to Jack, they sold more cars per week then before the war broke out.
Big lesson here.
