lots of people tagging me in the pentagon UFO footage stuff. ill just say they still have way more “important” things about way more “important” events classified so if theyre releasing something you (very very obviously) have to ask yourself why theyre doing it.
personally i would entertain everything from innocuous, i.e., they know the public thinks UFOs are cool and its just something cool to get people talking, to nefarious, i.e. there is some larger plan it fits into. its probably both in terms of small scale vs large scale.
of course there is some propagandistic element to aliens and most people are getting to this point but theres also a propagandistic element to “space as metaphysical cosmology” that few have critically analyzed
