AURANGZEB ALAMGHIR
Aurangzeb’s full name was Abul Muzaffar Muhi-uddin Mohammed Aurangzeb, and he was born on November 3, 1618. His Father was Shah Jahan ruler of South Asia. Aurangzeb during his youth he was known as a devout worshipper and kept to seclusion and education.

He used to hand write copies of Quran and make hats to then sell at the market even though he was a son of the ruler who had many riches.He took reign of the throne in the year 1653 and went on to overhaul the governance and enfore Islamic Sharia in all aspects.
He banned music,singing,alcohol, gambling, dancing, castration, drugs, unjust taxes, and bowing to the King. He spent his regin crushing rebellions and creating more islamic institutions. He relied on the Holy texts with the understanding of the most learned scholars.
His closest teacher from childhood was a Alim called "Muhammad Saleh Kamboh Salafi" which he learnt Quran,Sunnah and the Hanafi fiqh.He actively fought against Shirk,Bidah and heretical beliefs. He fought against Sufism to a huge extent. He fought and executed many extremist
sufis who were urguing the people to rebel for example Sarmad Kashani, a naked “majzoob” (holy man) who was calling for the dethroning of him. He prevented Sufism to such an extent that prominent Sufi Bulleh Shah one day danced and played music in the streets of
Lahore in protest of their practices being shut down.
His regin started on 31 july 1658 and ended upon his death on 3 march 1707. During his regin South Asia became the richest region in the whole world and peace,security was maintained. By the end of his reign he compiled
