THREAD: We got lots of replies to our Justin Rohrwasser’s social media thread telling us to read the Three Percenters’ webpage and then we’ll know they doesn’t promote white supremacy.

So we did.

Turns out they do.

L: Rohrwasser’s III%er tattoo
R: III%ers at Charlottesville
The official Three Percenters webpage published the article, “Our Proud Southern Heritage,” which says it will “teach you a thing or two about the men we honor with statues and memorials all across the south.”

🗣 This. Is. From. Their. Official. Webpage.
thethreepercenters.org/single-post/20…
🗣 Excerpts from the III%er article, pictures added:

The reason “why we have statues and memorials erected of prominent figures of the Confederate Army in our towns and cities” is “to give honor and praise to to good, brave, and courageous men. - official Three Percenter webpage
“...Your teacher probably didn't cover the entire truth about the Civil War and its prominent leaders due to government mandated curriculum and textbooks.” - official Three Percenter webpage
The Three Percenters teach that Robert E. Lee “was a man of unimpeachable integrity and a hero to the masses.”

The article goes on to defend Lee who himself owned slaves and was leader of the Confederate Army.
The Three Percenters defend the original KKK and Nathan Bedford Forrest.

Forrest ordered Confederate troops to massacre surrendered African-American Union soldiers at Fort Pillow. He was a slave trader, the first Grand Wizard of the KKK, and killed Black folks trying to vote.
If the Three Percenter aren’t white supremacists, why do they equate calls to remove Confederate statues with “our southern heritage” being “dismantled,” and teach followers to “remember and give honor to these great men who we admire and respect for their courage and fortitude.”
If the Three Percenters don’t support white supremacy, why are they defending Confederate statues, defending the founding of the KKK, and defending the legacies of Confederate General Robert E. Lee and the KKK’s first Grand Wizard Nathan Bedford Forrest on their own website?
If the Three Percenters don’t promote white supremacy, why did they provide protection for Neo-Nazis at Charlottesville?
Only after white supremacists (that the Three Percenters were defending) drove into protestors, did the group issue this “stand down order.”
In the “stand down order” letter, which people use to defend them, the 3%ers admit to:

☑️ Attending Charlottesville’s violent protests
☑️ Protesting with “alt-right white supremacists and Nazi groups”
☑️ Protesting Confederate statue removal
☑️ Regularly Counter-protesting BLM
We don’t know if Rohrwasser was in Charlottesville or not. His college is in a neighboring state.

We do know that the Three Percenters promote “branded” members who have the III% logo tattooed on them.
We also know Justin Rohrwasser got the III% tattoo at one point and the “Liberty of Death” tattoo later. This is a progression on a theme, not “random tattoos.”

It is amazing who the NFL has room for and who they don’t.
