Magic's revenues increased "significantly" in the first quarter of 2020, despite the impact of COVID-19. #MTG

Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner also said that there was an increase in new players thanks to Arena despite a reduction in in-person events.

Goldner also said that 2.1 billion games played on MTG Arena and that average weekly usage has increased an hour up to 9 hours/week per user. #MTG #MTGArena
Q1 2020 was Arena's strongest period since launch. Goldner said they are seeing "acceleration" in the game's growth and that Ikoria preorders on Arena were the strongest ever for a new set. #MTG #MTGArena

On today's Magic Showcase, Wizards announces that Store Championships are returning to LGSes this December. #MTG

The Top 8 will get Collected Company promos, the winner will get a Wurmcoil Engine.
