Last year my son had #KawasakiDisease. It was the most terrifying time of my life, but thankfully he was diagnosed and treated quickly by doctors at @NHSG_RACH. It is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children.
If your child has these symptoms, regardless of whether or not we are in a global pandemic, you should seek medical advice. 
Temperature, persistent high fever for 5 days
Erythema, reddened, swollen hands & feet
Mouth, dry, sore mouth, cracked lips or strawberry tongue
Pace, Treat EARLY to reduce risk of heart damage
Eyes, bloodshot (not sticky)
Rash
Swollen glands in the neck, often just on one side

This will be incredibly worrying for many parents. I would encourage you all to stay vigilant and if you feel like something isn't right, please get in touch with your GP, or hospital depending on how worrying the symptoms are. bbc.co.uk/news/health-52…
