Chris Steele's recent depo in London revealed he thinks the DOJ IG has misreported something Glenn Simpson and himself told Bruce Ohr over breakfast.

Steele thinks the IG misidentified P1 (Sergei Millian) as being Paul Manafort.

Not that Steele thinks P1 is PM in general.
The allegations about Sergei Millian and the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce (RACC) came from Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS.

Simpson either fabricated the source or he was responsible for putting Millian in Steele's dossiers.

More proof it was horrendous patchwork.
Steele said Person 1 (Sergei Millian) was, "someone who possibly embellished."

When asked if Person 1 was a boaster and egoist? Steele replied, "that doesn't mean he's a bad source though."
Sergei Millian's tweet shows the dangers of cherry-picking. You get the context wrong.

Which is why the FBI and DOJ are in the mess they are in.

FISA abuses were due to deliberate mischaracterisations and falsehoods.

FBI still haven't interviewed Person 1 after 3 years.
