Over the last couple of weeks, plenty of thinktanks and analysts have come up with their own various estimates of how they see the UK economy recovering from the coronavirus crisis.

Not one of those estimates has mentioned Brexit awaiting us at year-end. Not one!
But then the journalists reporting the analyses and using them as stepping stones for their own prognoses don't mention Brexit either.

It's pure "1984" doublethink territory. If nobody ever mentions it again, it isn't happening. Only... it is!
Where are the studies from the OBR, the IFS, the Bank of England etc. showing the cumulative effects of the coronavirus AND Brexit?

Because right now we're flying blind. All we know is there's definitely a cliff face ahead. But beyond that...
