I spent the last couple weeks adding IPv6 to my code and not the IPv4 is completely broken. Sigh.
The problem is that the regression test still passes -- but the thing is entirely borked.
I'm lazy with unit/regression tests -- I only add tests for the hard parts. So now a bunch of the easy stuff is broken. It's kinda interesting how it can be this badly broken and still pass unit/regression tests.

Well, yes, if you think bitcoin is going to replace fiat currency, then of course economists know a lot about that. But if you think bitcoin is going to replace fiat currencies you are an idiot.
Some people believe the value of bitcoin is $9k (the current price in dollars).

Some people believe the value of bitcoin is having a wholly math-based system of exchanged controlled by no central party.

1/ This is wrong on so many levels. For one thing, Tim Berners Lee was responsible for the web (HTML, HTTP), not the Internet. For another thing, nobody invented the Internet. It's not an invention.
2/ There has been a steady invent of telecommunications technologies since pre-history. Early empires, from the Persians to the Romans to the Incas, can be best be described as based on telecommunications based upon a robust road system.
3/ The 1800s saw semaphore towers, Morse code, Baudot code, and electromechanical devices such as the telegraph. We can describe these in terms of modern Internet terminology.

1/ So, "CISSP equivalent to a master's degree". I think a lot has gotten lost in translation. Whenever there's Twitter outrage, there's probably ignorance.
2/ Of course a CISSP isn't equivalent to a master's degree, or a bachelor's degree. It's less, even, than the "associates degree" you get from a two-year community college.

However, this doesn't seem to matter.
3/ Studying the UK NARIC framework, it seems to me that this "level 11" is the standard section to put all sorts of "professional certifications" for a lot of disciplines. A lot of engineering certifications are at this level.
