An important point about Michael Moore's terrible film (from a friend of mine who's been involved in the space for a very long time): it's irrelevant. Talk-radio hosts and fossil fuel enthusiasts may glom onto it, but it won't change the decisions that utilities make. 1/4
Why? Because the numbers speak for themselves. That's why wind and solar capacity are surging in places like Texas. Business > bluster. 2/4 
And as Donald Trump's term in office has shown, even the biggest bully with the largest pulpit can't do anything to reverse this trend. He promised to save coal -- and has had the largest retirement of coal-powered capacity in history happen under his watch. 3/4
So if people want to re-litigate arguments about renewable energy that have been over for the better part of a decade? Let them. The decision makers have already moved on from them, and that's what matters. 4/4
