We're investigating an issue in which users may be unable to view presence information in Microsoft Teams. The issue appears to primarily affect users in North America. Additional details can be found in the admin portal under TM212081.

We've determined that a recent configuration change resulted in a spike of memory utilization on infrastructure that facilitates user presence requests. We're rolling back the affected change to mitigate impact. Additional details can be found in the admin portal under TM212081.
In an effort to more efficiently mitigate impact, we're failing traffic over to alternate infrastructure and are monitoring the service while this process completes. Additional details are available in the admin portal under TM212081.
We're continuing our process of rerouting traffic and restarting the impacted infrastructure. Additional details are available in the admin portal under TM212081.
