According to the Royal Malaysia Police, the number of crimes have dropped by half during the movement control order. 
Interstate travel NOW requires approval via Gerak Malaysia. A newer software update is now required which will display the QR code.
According to the Police, approval is now required because only 29.5% of applicants have provided their travel details. Users must provide address of origin and destination.
QR code will be required at the roadblocks. Those without the app may present their written permit obtained from the police station.
The QR code must be generated on the day of travel. If you’re travelling on 7th May, you must only request on 7th May after 12.00.
