Chicago is a truly fucked up place for a lot of reasons

I grew up on the southwest side near midway airport

There were streets that divided up neighborhoods by race

1/
if you crossed 47th it went from mostly white/mixed to almost entirely black

This create insane racial conflict

Then there was cicero which if you crossed started a less pronounced shift from white to latino

We were told by people in our neighborhood that if we tried to cross 47th we would likely get stopped by cops because "there was no legal reason for us to be over there"

it had happened a few times

Dude on camera walking around a neighborhood he doesn't live in, enters a home and is there for a few minutes, someone spots him and calls 911, he exits the home and starts running

Right, he shouldnt have been killed but these defenses are just so fucking weird

My friend said she needed milk but was broke

I gave her $20 and said you can keep it

She went to the store and there was no milk so she bought none

Blue hat twitter accounts were aghast, confused as to why the money could not get her any milk

The point is that if the economy stays closed eventually dairy farms
