A young man, Sean Reed, has been shot & killed by Indianapolis police, while streaming on Facebook Live.

I am not posting the video. This is after, where police laugh, & one comments, "looks like it's gonna be a closed casket, homie."
The Facebook Live video shows Mr. Reed being pursued by police in unmarked cars, giving his location and asking for help.

When he is forced off the road, he gets out of the car and runs away from the police. You then hear a number of gun shots and he collapses and dies.
They shot him 15 times as he was running away and then they joked that he would need a closed casket.

This is Sean Reed.
Rest in power, Sean.

Andrea Circle Bear, an Indigenous woman from South Dakota, died in federal prison of COVID-19 yesterday, after giving birth to her baby by C-section, while on a ventilator in early April.

She began serving a sentence for a minor drug offense on March 20.thehill.com/policy/healthc…
Ms. Circle Bear was married with children (the baby in the photo is not the baby to whom she just gave birth).

Authorities knew she had a high risk pregnancy and a pre-existing medical condition at the time she was admitted to prison.
Ms. Circle Bear was in federal prison in Texas, but she was arrested and convicted in South Dakota.

Native people between the ages of 15 and 64 are incarcerated at 10 times the rate of white people in South Dakota.

Cell phone video shows a police officer in Rancho Cordova, California, slamming a 14-year-old child's face and body into the pavement, then punching him in the head repeatedly, after accusing him of smoking marijuana, yesterday.

The child was not charged with marijuana possession. Just resisting arrest.

He has a serious heart condition and this sort of brutal assault could have had fatal consequences. He is still suffering chest pain.
The family have asked that this video be shared in the hope that the police officer is fired and criminal charges are brought. #JUSTICE4JAH

Cell phone video shot yesterday on the 145th Street subway platform in Harlem shows a group of NYPD officers terrorizing a little boy for allegedly selling candy.

The child, who cannot be more than 10 years old, is shown crying, as the police detain him, kick the bags of candy and chips he was carrying along the subway platform, then drag him up the subway stairs.

Oh and, yes, during a pandemic.
