We're all at the mercy of the least intelligent, the conspiracy theory minded, Cult45, and federal & state politicians who trust their "gut" and not science.

This means DO NOT GO OUT UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST.

Im so sorry for folks like grocery workers, health workers..../1

...and all others who must - whether through necessity, requirement or commitment - who are endangering themselves.

The BEST the rest of us can do for them and our nation is stay home, cut out even those things we now consider "essential" by being smart and acting.../2

...with a level of responsibility beyond what we normally would have to have done. We have to offset the stupid and insane.

This means: If you have a delivery service, do NOT go to the grocery store. Give HUGE tips if you haven't been already. After delivery..../3

...set everything aside without touching. Wash your hands. Then go back, take out the perishables, and wash all of them as if they were your hands. Wash hands again.

Do NOT go to the pharmacy if you can avoid it. Look online for medicine by mail. We use that and it's good.../4

...if you have a dog who you must walk, do NOT let anyone touch the dog. If someone does & you weren't able to stop it, do NOT touch your dog where the dog was touched. Take dog home, give it a bath - happy birthday twice on the spot the was touched - and then wash your hands../5

...stay 10 feet away from others. We have psychopaths out there who are "I'll show you this is a hoax!" & spitting on people wearing masks. Be just like defensive driving - unless you know the person, presume they'll spit on you or otherwise intentionally contact to "prove".../6

...that the whole thing is a "hoax." Do not under ANY circumstances go out for any other reason that involves "shopping" or "eating out" or other unnecessary acts. Have exercise time for your kids and yourself, but make sure you stay away from others by 10 feet..../7

...we have a president saying that he wants to stop testing because the numbers "make us look bad." We have an Administration that is blocking the CDC from issuing safety guidelines until THEY "review" and "edit" it. We have (GOP) states that are forbidding medical examiners.../8

...from disclosing anonymized numbers on causes of death, we have states forcing state universities to stop using infection models politicians don't like, we have an entire group who think the disease is a "hoax" and "conspiracy" to hurt their political God.../9

...we have big voices in conservative media and republican politicians now starting to push the idea that the death rates are a hoax by hospitals manipulating the numbers to hurt their God King.../10

...(their argument is "presumed COVID death" is a lie, but the presumption is forced because the same people screwed up testing, so they can only know by clinical presentation), we have an Administration that is blocking local hospitals and states from getting PPE.../11

...we have a president who tells nurses and doctors that they are lying, that everyone has plenty of PPE, and the ones who say they don't are stealing it..../12

...Lastly, we have what I have feared since this began: Armed lunatics are starting to shoot and kill people who tell them that store rules require them to wear face masks, or the dining room is closed because of health reasons, etc. This will likely escalate...../13

...if you see someone without a mask, NOTHING you say will matter. They are stupid, insane, selfish, or all of those. All that can happen is that, if you tell them, they could kill you.

Those who are not stupid, not insane, and have a sense of community must protect those.../14

...who are at risk - again, health workers, grocery store, people who will lose homes without an income - as well as protect ourselves. Do NOT indulge yourself out of convenience. Nothing you want to do is worth dying. Nothing you want to do is worth killing. Nothing you.../15

...want to do is worth destroying friends, family and nation.

We. Are. Alone. Worse, we're at the mercy of the least intelligent & most deluded.

Lock down more than you might have before this. I'm sorry, but we have to recognize: Lots will die. Dont be one, and don't kill.
