This temple is known for wonders like musical pillars, +1 lakh statues each with a tiny hole frm one ear to another etc.

The Thanumalayan / Suchindram Anjaneyar Temple in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.

The inscriptions of the temple dates back to 9th Century.

There are numerous "Yantras" which have specific purposes but the most powerful "Yantra" is said to be the "Sri Yantra" which is a symbolic representation of the totality of the universe which is personified by the universal mother goddess.

Curved out of Basalt Rock- one of the hardest!

It is one the incredible piece of engineering & craftsmanship that human being have displayed on the planet & here stands wonders of the wonders!😊🙏
@LostTemple7 The entire temple was cut out through solid basalt bedrock from the top to bottom. The archaeologist and the quacademics say this temple was constructed in 18 years, and experts have confirmed that over 400,000 ton of rock had to be cut out from just the kailasha temple alone.
@LostTemple7 That means 5 tons of basalt rock had to be removed every hour!! Just to construct this temple!? is that even possible to do with our modern technology? The temple was carved from top to bottom with supposedly only simple hammers and chisels..!!
