So it seems the virus found me. That’s not even the scary part. The scary part is how the hell did the virus find me?
I wasn’t perfect, quite good in a lot of areas (masks, distancing, hand washing, disposable gloves, indoor/outdoor clothing, sanitizing) and less good at staying inside (took walks and rotated between a few locations)
But that’s the thing, the parts I was bad at (at least that I can tell) are the things that need to happen for things to start reopening
Was it some errant sneeze I walked into? That one drink with a straw outside? Did it creep into the house? That 20 minutes of distanced conversation on the stoop? The shared bathroom when I visited the studio? The food delivery? The Amazon?
Maybe a wild fluke but Cuomo was saying the other day the new hospitalizations are mainly people who have been staying home. If the virus is hidden and virulent I don’t see how things reopen without big flare ups
I’m fine btw, case was mild compared to my gf and others I’ve talked to. This stuff comes in and out with waves a little but I’ve been reasonable functional and occasionally even productive.
Haven’t tested so there is still a chance it was something else but I have no idea what that would be, certainly not remotely like any flu I’ve ever had.
