THREAD What is eating at me is the swirl of information and patterns that seem to be emerging.
1. As the death toll mounts and the cases skyrocket, Trump just keeps adjusting the number he needs to make his response a success.
2. Trump's shifting blame game. Scapegoat of the day

3. Trump finally releases Intel Committee notes in the middle of a panic, hoping to give fodder for his people to attack Dems. (Yet it seems to be the opposite)
4. Barr goes full court press on undermining the Russia investigation altogether. (See @AshaRangappa's response)

5. Trump's soldiers accuse the House trying to start another impeachment with the CV-19 hearings. (They are scared shitless that this will happen as a result) It will happen.
6. Trump tells Putin that a lot of things are going to happen to show the Russia probe was a hoax. Which

indicates collusion with Barr.
7. Trump blames WHO, CDC, HHS, UN, China for CV. Yet we know there was a playbook laying out the whole response, from preparation, to recovery.
8. Trump claims not to have been notified, when all indicators show otherwise. vanityfair.com/news/2020/04/d…

9. Trump says the governors are responsible for testing, opening, etc. Not according to the Playbook, which specifically calls for the coordination of testing in the entire nation. documentcloud.org/documents/6819…

10. Trump says he inherited a broken system and a depleted Strategic Stockpile. He gutted the system, and ignored his own team's warnings after a disaster drill in Fall 2019. And he shipped tons of critical PPE supplies to China in January from the stockpile.

11. HHS was supposed to be in charge (per the Playbook) but Azar pissed Trump off, so he installed Pence to oversee CV response. Then he gave it to Jared, with no experience whatsoever. The Playbook be damned. It was Obama's, which Trump rejected out of hand. So there was a free

for all, totally random, profit driven response to PPE, with the States competing with the Feds, Feds hijacking States' shipments of PPE without notice. It is still mayhem. States are on their own. PPE shortages reported all over the nation. Trump maintains everything is fine.

12. Trump encourages all States to open, when they have not met his admin's own triggers, yet puts the onus on the Governors is things go south. CYA on a national scale.
13. He discounts the CDC findings and recommendations. He forces meat plants to stay open, when thousands of

infections are identified. The CDC mandates suddenly become recommendations, exposing thousands to infection. Workers face dismissal if they don't show up.
14. Trump says that test results make us look bad, so why not just open up without testing and tracing? Governors follow

his lead, (red states) and hide the total number of infections (Nebraska, Florida) from the official reports.
15. He encourages mass protests, while insisting that is not the case. He calls armed masses "good people" that are maintaining social distancing. (Lie)

16. He never shows sorrow or compassion for deaths in the US. Yet he wishes Kim Jung Un good health.
17. He divides America.
18. He takes no responsibility for any failure, no matter how slight.
19. He never had a plan to respond to the virus, and still has no plan to recover

Likely, I could go on till 50, but I have run out of energy. Point is, that Trump is completely out of control, is in damage control mode, rather than bringing our nation together in this horrible crisis. He has no experience, nor the needed skills, to face this pandemic.

So, we look to Congress to put us on the path to recovery. That involves removing Trump from power. Either party can accomplish that. The GOP could do it without delay. The Dems could impeach him within a couple months. Who will answer the call to save us from this madman?

History will celebrate those patriots who speak truth to power, regardless of the consequences. Their names will be celebrated for decades as the heroes who saved us from a corrupt tyrant, drunk with power. Who will be our heroes? @RepAdamSchiff @SenateGOP
